Originally from Watertown, Wisconsin, Bernadette graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. Degree with majors in Music (Vocal Performance) and Communication Arts (Radio, TV, Film emphasis). Prior to attending UW-Madison, Bernadette began her college career at the University of Miami, Florida where she sang in the University Chorale and the Ocean Reef Ensemble and studied acting, dance, and vocal performance.

Bernadette has spent her post-college years traveling and performing, working in youth ministry, and teaching voice and dance.

One of her favorite past projects was recording the title song "Never Again" for For Grace, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy in the medical community and the general public (www.forgrace.org).
